Basement Transformation
Project Info
Transforming an underutilized, narrow basement into a luxurious entertainment space, this project centered on creating an Italian Winery-inspired retreat. The highlight is a custom, temperature-controlled 300-bottle wine room, featuring softened edge wine holders, a central display, and gravity-fed storage, all hidden behind custom-locked mesh doors. Adjacent, a 10-person custom bar was crafted from hand-selected Cherry Woods, boasting dual beverage chillers, an ice maker, and inlaid LED lighting, with a matching custom ceiling. A 300-cigar humidor, made of Spanish Cedar and Cherry Woods, was seamlessly integrated into the wall.
To enhance the space, a powder room was converted into a modern 12×6 shower room, incorporating existing glass block from the exterior and wood-style glass tiles, finished with a bi-directional glass enclosure. Overcoming spatial challenges, we removed interior walls, installed new flooring, and carefully maintained the client’s desired aesthetic, resulting in a stunning, fully custom basement that perfectly blends elegance and functionality.
